Tucson Originals in partnership with Local First Arizona is excited to announce a new collaboration between our two organizations. With the help of community partners, amazing locally owned restaurants and food purveyors and a hard-working staff, Tucson Originals and Local First Arizona are hitting the ground running, planning food-tastic events like SAVOR Southern Arizona Food and Wine Festival, Taste of Tucson and Tucson’s Wurst Oktoberfest slated for Fall of 2018.
But that’s not all! Check out below for our top three reasons we can’t wait to work with Tucson Originals:
1. Foodie Events
Whether it’s the Pizza Throwdown in June, Old Pueblo classics like World Margarita Championship in August or the brand new Whisky & Smoke coming in May, these events celebrate the rich and diverse culinary culture Tucson is famous for. Be sure to check out the Tucson Originals and Local First Arizona websites as we unveil more details about these upcoming celebrations. We’ll be sending out event updates via email, you can subscribe here.
2. Tucson Originals Gift Cards
Did you know that you can purchase a gift card that is valid at all 35+ Tucson Originals Restaurants? The TO gift cards can be purchased at tucsonoriginals.com and used at any TO restaurant of your choosing, including restaurants like Mama’s Hawaiian BBQ, Frescos Pizzeria, and Pastiche Modern Eatery. Tucson Originals gift cards have something for everyone, making them the perfect gift for any occasion.
3. Oktoberfest 2018
One of the many projects Local First Arizona will be working on with Tucson Originals is the upcoming Oktoberfest. That’s right, Oktoberfest is coming back to Tucson in 2018! Prepare for the “WURST” as we partner with local breweries, restaurants and more to bring to Tucson an authentic Munich experience complete with stein racing, the chicken dance, giant pretzels and of course lots of “bier.”
Local First Arizona couldn’t be more excited to host these upcoming events with Tucson Originals. It is our hope that through fun community events, a worthy social media presence and an evolving network of restaurants and partners, we can continue to build Arizona’s economy and empower the local restaurants and food purveyors that help make Tucson a UNESCO City of Gastronomy.
